Privacy Policy
Clean Cut Tree Service LLC ("we", "us") collects only the information we need to do tree work for you.
What we collect
When you contact us through our website form, by phone, text or email, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Photos you send of your trees
- Notes about your property we need to do the work, like gate codes or access instructions
What we use it for
We use your information to answer your questions, schedule and perform tree work, and handle billing. Nothing else.
Where your information lives
We keep business records in QuickBooks Online. The providers below handle the website and what you send through it.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and runs the form handler. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form submission comes from a person, not a bot; it may look at basic browser and connection details to do that.
- Cloudflare R2 stores what you send through the form, including any photos, until we no longer need it.
- Resend sends us an email notice of your request, which includes your details and links to your photos.
- Google Workspace is our business email. If we turn it on, your request may also be added as a row in a private Google Sheet.
Intuit (the company behind QuickBooks Online) may also process some of your information on its own behalf for limited purposes like product development and improvement, data analytics, and fraud prevention. Intuit's QuickBooks Online terms require us to tell you that Intuit is a data controller for some of your information. You can read Intuit's Global Privacy Statement at intuit.com/privacy/statement.
Text messages
If you tick the box on our form, you agree we may text you about your estimate or question. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text and we will stop. Not ticking the box does not stop us calling you back about your request.
Photos
Photos you upload are shrunk in your browser before they are sent, and are used only to look at your trees before we come out. Do not include people or other personal details in them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
Who else sees it
Only the providers we need to run the business, such as our website host, our email provider, and QuickBooks/Intuit, and only what they need to do their part. We will also share information if the law requires it, for example in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to do the work and to meet our tax and legal obligations. If you want to see your information or ask us to remove what we no longer need, email info@clean-cut-trees.com.
About Oregon law
We are a small Oregon business. The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act applies to businesses that handle data from at least 100,000 Oregon consumers (or 25,000 consumers while making 25% or more of their revenue from selling personal data). We are far below those numbers, so those rules do not apply to us. We still handle your information the way this policy describes.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
