Don't let your hedges get out of control.
A good hedge gives you privacy and a clean edge, but it needs regular trimming or it gets big fast. We trim to a formal line or leave a natural shape, whichever suits the yard.
Overgrown hedges can be cut back hard if the plant can take it. We tell you when it cannot. Clippings go on the truck. If you want it kept up, ask about a seasonal care plan.

Common questions
How often should a hedge be trimmed?
Most need it once or twice a year. Fast growers like laurel and Leyland cypress can need more. We can set up a seasonal plan so you do not have to remember.
Can you cut back a hedge that has gotten huge?
Usually yes. Some hedges take a hard cut and grow back well. Others, like many conifers, will not regrow from bare wood. We look first and tell you which you have.
Do you haul away the clippings?
Yes. Cleanup is part of the job, and the clippings leave with us.
Do you trim shrubs and small ornamental trees too?
Yes. See trimming and pruning for ornamental and shrub work.
