Plant health care
Questions about a sick tree, a pest, or what to feed it? Start with a free consultation.
We can look at a tree and tell you what is going on. Boring beetles, fungus and bacteria are the usual culprits here, and we treat for them.
We keep pollinators in mind when we pick a treatment and when we spray. A tree in bloom with bees on it is a reason to wait or to choose differently. Many problems only need the right feed at the right depth, so we start there.
What we do
- Advise on pesticides and fertilizers
- Feed roots at depth
- Treat fungal problems
- Treat insect problems
- Protect pollinators

Common questions
What is deep-root fertilization?
We put fertilizer into the soil around the tree at root depth, instead of leaving it on the surface where grass takes most of it.
Can you treat a tree for boring beetles?
Yes. Insecticide treatment is part of what we do. The earlier it is caught, the better the tree's chances, so send a photo if you see small holes or sawdust at the base.
Will treatment hurt bees?
We choose treatments with pollinators in mind and we avoid spraying plants in bloom. Ask us at the consultation and we will go over what we would use.
Does the consultation cost anything?
No. The consultation is free.
